Although we had sincerely hoped that the Bishopmill Dental Centre in Elgin would be ready to open in the Summer of 2008, it now seems most likely that this opening date will be January 2009. We received planning permission from Moray Council July 2008 and hope to begin building work soon. Our group will be recruiting reception and nursing staff approximately one month before the practice is due to open to the public: With five modern and fully-equipped surgeries available (complete with full computerisation and digital radiography) then the capacity for 5 full-time dentists exists (though the number will of course entirely depend on the amount of patients that register for NHS treatment and the number of dentists that can be recruited).

There are currently no job opportuntities at the Queen Street Dental Centre or Ythan Bridge Dental Centre.

Having acquired the adjoining shop unit at Byron Square, we hope to expand the Northfield Dental Centre:  A completely new reception and waiting area at the front of the practice with the addition of one surgery, an extra toilet and a purpose built decontamination room to the rear will radically transform the practice.  This will create two extra nursing positions and a vacancy for another dentist to join our group.
